Aurora Cabin – Terms and Conditions


1. About Aurora Cabin
Aurora Cabin is located in the charming hamlet of Hanle Village, Ladakh. Our premium cabins are newly constructed, offering a serene and comfortable stay amidst meadows and beautiful mountain peaks. Each cabin features attached western-style bathrooms, hot and cold showers, king-size beds, premium bedding, wooden flooring, and a wardrobe. We provide 12 cabins, a dining hall with a wide range of menu options, and ample on-site parking.

 

2. Booking and Reservation

  • All bookings must be confirmed directly with Aurora Cabin representatives.

  • Due to limited internet connectivity in Hanle, verbal confirmation (by phone or in person) is strongly recommended for all reservations and rate inquiries.

  • Email and social media communication is available but may be delayed. Final confirmation of rates and availability will be provided verbally.

  • Rates are subject to seasonal variation and may change without prior notice.

 

3. Check-in and Check-out

  • Standard check-in time: 2:00 PM (14:00 hrs)

  • Standard check-out time: 11:00 AM (11:00 hrs)

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of check-in unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash (INR) and UPI (subject to network availability).

  • No credit card facilities are available due to remote location.

 

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival: Full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.

  • No-shows or cancellations on the day of arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

  • In case of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, road closures, etc.), Aurora Cabin will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund, subject to availability and operational feasibility.

 

6. Guest Conduct and House Rules

  • Guests are expected to maintain a peaceful and respectful environment.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside cabins and dining areas.

  • Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

  • Guests are responsible for their belongings. Aurora Cabin is not liable for loss or theft of personal items.

  • Any damage to property or furnishings will be charged to the guest at the time of check-out.

  • Guests must not disturb other guests or engage in any unlawful or disruptive activities.

 

7. Amenities and Services

  • All cabins are equipped with attached bathrooms, hot and cold showers, king-size beds, premium bedding, wooden flooring, and wardrobes.

  • Dining hall offers a wide range of menu options. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.

  • Ample parking space is available on-site for guest vehicles.

  • Aurora Cabin reserves the right to modify or withdraw any amenity or service without prior notice.

 

8. Liability and Safety

  • Aurora Cabin is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to guests or their property, except in cases of proven negligence.

  • Guests are advised to exercise caution while exploring the surrounding area, especially at high altitudes.

  • In case of emergencies, Aurora Cabin will provide assistance to the best of its ability, but guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

 

9. Force Majeure

  • Aurora Cabin shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, road closures, power outages, or government restrictions.

 

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Leh, Ladakh.

 

11. Amendments

  • Aurora Cabin reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any significant changes prior to their stay.
